What does it mean when a WealthTech company says: "Your data is safe with us"?
This claim is easy to make and much harder to prove. That is precisely why we sought ISO 27001 certification and are proud to announce that fincite is now officially certified.
What ISO 27001 means in practice
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for information security management systems. Certification means that an independent external auditor has confirmed that our security practices meet the highest global standards. Not just on paper, but in our daily actions.
What our certification covers
Our ISMS covers the entire scope of fincite: risk management, information systems, cloud infrastructure, software development, operations, human resources and all business processes involved in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of our platform.
Concretely, this includes: client onboarding, advisory services, portfolio management, data aggregation, reporting, market data integration, as well as all associated support and administrative services.
In short: everything that comes into contact with our company or our clients' data is covered.
What this means for our clients
For the banks, family offices and wealth managers who rely on fincite • cios every day, ISO 27001 certification is more than just a seal on a website. It means their clients' data is handled with the utmost care. Risks are systematically identified and managed. Robust controls are in place to prevent, detect and respond to security incidents. And all of this is continuously monitored and improved.

How we got there
The entire certification process took only six months. When the external auditors completed their audit, the result was: zero major and zero minor findings. A clear confirmation that the security standard on which fincite has been built from the very beginning also withstands the strictest independent scrutiny.
What comes next
Certification is a milestone, not an endpoint. We are currently building our own Trust Centre, which will provide our clients and partners with even greater transparency regarding how we handle security, compliance and data privacy.
