What does it mean when a WealthTech company says "your data is safe with us"?
It is easy to make that claim and much harder to prove it. That is why we pursued ISO 27001 certification are proud to share that fincite is now officially certified.
What ISO 27001 actually means
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems. Getting certified means that an independent external auditor has verified that our security practices meet the highest global benchmarks. Not just on paper but in how we operate every single day.
What our certification covers
Our ISMS covers the complete scope of what powers fincite: risk management, information systems, cloud infrastructure, software development, operations, personnel, and every business process involved in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our platform.
Specifically, this includes client onboarding, advisory services, portfolio management, data aggregation, reporting, market data integration, and all related support and administrative services.
In other words: if it touches our company or our clients' data, it is covered.
What this means for our clients
For the banks, family offices, and wealth managers who rely on fincite • cios every day, ISO 27001 certification is more than a badge on a website. It means their clients' data is handled with the highest level of care. Risks are systematically identified and managed. Robust controls are in place to prevent, detect, and respond to potential security incidents. And all of this is continuously monitored and improved.

How we got here
The entire certification process took us just six months. When the external auditors completed their review, the result was zero major or minor findings. A clear confirmation that the security standard we built fincite on holds up to the most rigorous independent scrutiny.
What comes next
Certification is a milestone, not an endpoint. We are currently building a dedicated Trust Center that will give our customers and partners even greater transparency into how we handle security, compliance, and data protection.
