A new chapter: Leadership handover at fincite

After eleven intensive and successful years, there is an important development at fincite: Friedhelm Schmitt, who has shaped fincite as Co-CEO since its founding, will assume the sole CEO role on 15 February 2026 and will lead the company into the next phase of growth. Our Co-founder and Co-CEO Ralf Heim will hand over the operational management and will remain closely connected to the Harvest Group as a Senior Advisor and shareholder.  
 

Eleven years of joint entrepreneurship  

In 2014, Ralf, Friedhelm, and Stefan started with a vision: to rethink asset management through intelligent software. What began as an idea is today one of the leading WealthTech providers in Germany. Ralf has always been the "striker" – with energy, passion, and an unerring instinct for innovation, he has shaped fincite.  

The collaboration has been characterised by mutual trust, clear roles, and the shared will to build something special. This foundation also supports the current transition: It occurs in the best possible agreement and with the knowledge that both sides have found the right time.  

Ralf's next step  

"The last eleven years have flown by," says Ralf. "I will proudly follow the development of fincite and the Harvest Group as a shareholder and fan. With Friedhelm Schmitt, Stefan Post, Thuwagaran Nithiananthan, and Paul Kammerer, the German management team is excellently positioned."  

Those who know Ralf understand: Even if there are no new projects on the horizon – his passion for technology and innovation will remain. As a Senior Advisor and shareholder, he remains connected to fincite and the Harvest Group.

Friedhelm's focus: Innovation and customer success  

Friedhelm is not only taking on the sole CEO role at fincite but is also joining the board of the Harvest Group.

"The strategic direction remains clear," explains Friedhelm. "We are focused on further increasing the Time2Value for our customers and consistently expanding our AI features."  

What does this mean for customers and employees?  

Simply put: Business as usual. All customer relationships, all contacts, and the entire management in Germany remain in place. The team continues to grow, the roadmap is ambitious, and integration into the Harvest Group opens up new opportunities for cross-border solutions.
